Gerti: The Empathic Friend

Gerti, one our newer students at VT, is an absolute delight. A few ways to describe Gerti would be that he’s an easy belly-laugher, an empathetic friend, and determined student.

Because of your giving to the work of VT Albania, Gerti attends school each day with enthusiasm and hope for the future. He receives physical therapy where he has grown, learns from our compassionate teacher, and finds friendship in a space that communicates Gerti’s worth, dignity, and value.
